Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of the IPC and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the prosecution case, the complainant was married with the petitioner on 09.07.2018 and thereafter, she was harassed and tortured for dowry. It is alleged that all the accused persons, lit fire on the body of the complainant but anyhow, her life could be saved. Her father tried to pacify the matter but could not succeed.

Petitioner denies the prosecution case and submits that no such occurrence as alleged in the complaint has ever occurred. Allegation is general and omnibus. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the complainant and is ready ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the same, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Begusarai in connection with Complaint Case No. 1358C of 2019 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
