Heard Mr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar Mangalam, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Upendra Pratap Singh for the State.

The licence of the petitioner was cancelled but the same was restored pursuant to an order passed by this Court. The E-POS machine, which was taken away from the premises of the petitioner was returned to him. The E-POS machine reading but indicates the delivery of food grains for preceeding months, which has actually not been delivered.

This might create difficulties for the petitioner as a licensee and, therefore, he made a suitable representation before the Licensing Authority for making necessary correction or the requisite food grains he supplied to him so that the petitioner is not charged in future for holding back food grains and not distributing it to the tagged consumers.

Such representation has been left unattended for a very long time and very inexplicably so.

We direct the concerned respondent, namely, the Sub-divisional Officer, Sadar at Chapra to immediately advert himself to the aforesaid representation, as contained in Annexure-4 to this writ petition and take a decision in that regard positively within a period of 60 days, to be counted from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before him.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
