Learned APP, appearing on behalf of the State is present and submitted that the matter is pending since 2018, wherein, FIR was lodged in year 2017 itself, under Sections 498(a)/34 of the I.P.C and Section ¾ of D.P. Act. It has further been submitted that it appears that the petitioner loosed his interest to remain in prosecution.
Considering the above, the present quashing petition is being dismissed in want of prosecution.
