Mr. Shashi Anugrah Narain, learned Senior Counsel
appearing for the petitioner submits that one of the subsequent developments after rejection of the petitioner’s prayer for bail on 12.10.2020, is that he has in the meantime, suffered the illness (cirrhosis of liver), for which he requires treatment at a specialized Centre. After some time, however, he fairly submits that no such application has been made before the trial court for availing of any specialized treatment. He submits that beyond commitment, there is no substantial progress at the trial.
There is no material before this Court to arrive at a conclusion that such permission would not be accorded by the trial court. Apart from that, this Court would further observe that after rejection of the prayer for bail on the last occasion, the

petitioner has not renewed his prayer before the trial court for grant of bail and in the event the same is done, the court, needless to say, would be obliged to consider the same in accordance with law, without in any manner being effected by the rejection of the prayer for bail under order dated 12.10.2020 passed in Cr.Misc. No.23542 of 2020.
The application stands disposed of.
