2 07-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

It appears from a bare perusal of the prayer of the petitioner that the petitioner’s grievances have lingered for an unduly long period before the respondent-state authority with regard to the disposal of her Anganbari Service Appeal No. 209 of 2018 filed on 11.10.2018. Accordingly, she has come to this Court praying for an expeditious disposal of the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a poor Anganbari Sevika whose services have been

terminated vide Annexure-5. However, on account of certain mechanitions, she was dislodged from her possession and has since been contesting for her reinstatement. He submits that the case of the petitioner may be decided expeditiously as she is facing undue harassment and the appeal has been lingering since 11.10.2018.

Be that as it may, since the parties have appeared before the Appellate Authority (District Magistrate, Sheohar, Respondent No. 4), it is directed that the present petitioner shall appear with a copy of this order before the District Magistratecum-Collector, Sheohar on or before the 15^th of January, 2020 and the District Magistrate, Sheohar, shall take necessary steps to hear her appeal and dispose off the same expeditiously within a period of three weeks from the date of her appearance before the Authority.

It is made clear that she will file a written representation along with the copy of the present order which should be duly received in the office of the District Magistrate by any authority authorized by him and the said authority shall place it immediately before the concerned District Magistrate for appropriate onward action.
