2 28-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A)/494 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3, 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The allegation against the petitioners is that they used to torture upon the victim due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1 is the unmarried Nanad. Petitioner no.2 is the mother-in-law and petitioner no.3 is the father-in-law. He further

submits that no specific role attributed to any of the three petitioners rather there is vague allegation of demand of dowry and torture. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Saran, Chapra in connection with Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
