The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 2220 of 2017 in which cognizance has been taken under Sections 498 A and 494 of the Indian Penal Code.
Earlier, the matter was referred to Patna High Court Mediation and Reconciliation Centre for resolving the dispute between the parties through the process of medication.
Learned Mediator has submitted his report dated 05.11.2019 wherein he has stated that inspite of best and sincere

effects, the dispute could not be resolved through process of mediation due to non-appearance of the parties on 17.10.2019, 24.10.2019 and 05.11.2019.
Regard being had to the nature of allegation made in the complaint, the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and the pleadings made in the application, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in Complaint Case No. 2220 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
