2 05-12-2019 Through this petition, the petitioner in personal capacity by way of a P.I.L. is inter alia challenging the screening of popular Sony T.V. Serial Kaun Banega Crorepati which,

according to him, is corrupting the people as well as the nation by depriving it of its fair share of Income Tax and inciting Govt. Servants who are morally debarred to take part in any T.V. or private radio owned by a private institution under the CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964.

We find the present petition to be totally misconceived, if not abuse of process of law. At this stage, the petitioner, who appears in person, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

Reluctantly and showing indulgence only for the reason that the petitioner, a practising advocate of this Court having educated of the legal position, we allow the petition to be withdrawn.

The application is dismissed as withdrawn.
