2 14-10-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

Petitioners have filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to grant the benefit of absorption of the regularization with effect from 9.12.1986.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the colleges in question was taken over by the State vide Ordinance No. 37 of 1986.

Without expressing any opinion on the claim of the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision, if not already decided in relation to the claim of the petitioners and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

Necessary decision one way or the other may be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
