The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to issue pay slip giving pay protection to the petitioners in light of provisions of Clause (2) & (3) of the notification dated 28.3.2012 issued by Road Construction Department.
Counter affidavit has been filed. It is submitted that the Clause under which the petitioners are seeking pay protection was without necessary approval from Cabinet and therefore the said two clauses have been deleted by modification dated 13.5.2014 issued by the Department under Memo No.

In view of such development the prayer made in the
writ petition is not maintainable.
Since none appears on behalf of the petitioners, without going into merit of the submissions made by the State Counsel, the writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
