Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondents to issue rent receipts and land possession certificate in favour of the petitioner with regard to the lands of Plot Nos.613, 612 and 614 of Khata No.986, 1084 and 1166, area 1 bigha 6 kathas 19 dhurs. The petitioner purchased the aforesaid land from Sri Narain Mishra, son of late Kuldeep Mishra and Sri Ashok Kumar Mishra, son of Late Nageshwar Mishra through registered sale deed dated 04.07.1981. The petitioner further purchased land of Plot No.611 and 613 measuring 18 kathas of Khata No.1160 and 1084 from Sri Hriday Narain Mishra through registered sale

deed dated 24.05.1985 and they also purchased land of Plot No.617 Khata No.1160 measuring 1 bigha 3 kathas 12 dhurs from Manikant Singh. After purchase of land, the petitioner came in possession of the land and the names of the petitioner was mutated. The revenue authority issued rent receipts till the year 1995 but when the petitioner filed the petition for issuance of rent receipts and the land possession certificate, the C.O. sat over the matter and did not pass any order nor issued rent receipts and land possession certificate in favour of the petitioner so that the petitioner may get loan from S.B.I. The petitioner has got right to get the rent receipts and the land possession certificate with regard to his lands duly purchased through sale deed.

Therefore, I direct the C.O. that if the petitioner present petition before him for issuance of rent receipts and land possession certificate with regard to the land mentioned above, the C.O. shall pass order on the petition of the petitioner within four weeks from the date of filing such petition.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
