Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned
counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for the Patna Municipal Corporation.
Petitioner, who retired from service under the respondent, Patna Municipal Corporation, on 31.12.1991, claims 20% extra pension and dearness relief on pension for the period 01.14.2014 to 31.01.2017 amounting to Rs.86,790/-, which has been sanctioned by the respondent, Patna Municipal Corporation, vide Memo No.2065, dated 27.04.2017, as contained in Annexure 3.
A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Patna Municipal Corporation stating therein that a sum of Rs.86,790/- has already been paid to the petitioner, which is

evident from Annexure ‘A’ to the counter affidavit, dated 08.02.2018, as such, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.
Considering the aforesaid stand, the present writ application is disposed of as infructuous.
