This writ application has been filed for seeking a direction to the Central Board of Secondary Education to change the name of the petitioner in her all records maintained by the Central Board of Secondary Education and issue a fresh marks sheet and other certificate of Class-X examination, 2017. Her name, as recorded in the marks sheet and other records, is Shristi Sharma and she wants to add her alias name Ishana Ratnayak Sharma in the said certificate.

It is not pleaded that the petitioner's name was wrongly recorded. It is rather her case that she wants to add alias name
