3 01-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No. 279 of 2016, registered under Sections 452, 498A, 307, 504, 506 and 313/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of torturing the daughter of informant by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and also driven out from her matrimonial house.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the request of learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the informant, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Patna High Court to settle the dispute between the

petitioner and the informant, where petitioner expressed his desire to keep his wife, daughter of the informant, with full dignity and honour but the daughter of the informant put the condition to live separate to in-laws but the petitioner is not ready to live separate as he is the only son of his parents.
Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria, in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No. 279 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
