The writ application is filed to question selection of respondent no. 6 as Sachiv of Jal Chhajan Samiti which is a post created on honorarium basis under the Integrated Watershed Management Programme.
The respondent nos. 1, 2, 4 and 5 have filed a counter affidavit. A.C. to A.A.G.-III has drawn attention of the Court to Annexure-A which is the merit list prepared by the Panchayat wherefrom it appears that Respondent no. 6 was placed at Sl. I am satisfied from perusal of the stand taken by the respondents that no palpable illegality, as such, has been committed in engagement of respondent no. 6 on the post in question.
The writ application is dismissed.
