It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the she is a business woman and in view of the fact that there was one occurrence in which the miscreants resorted to firing in her shop for which Pirbahore Police Station Case No. 370 of 2012 was registered and that apart, her father was also murdered for which Gandhi Maidan Police Station Case No. 34 of 2004 was registered under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and in view of that she had applied for grant arm licence for revolver in the year 2014 itself but still no decision has been taken by the licensing authority. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out

that the Officer-in-charge of the concerned Police Station has stated in detail regarding the aforesaid occurrence in his recommendation which has been appended as Annexure 3 to this writ petition.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Patna is directed to take a final decision in the matter of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks
