3 27-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 and 4.

Though a stand has been taken in the counter affidavit that certain TDS returns were not deposited by the petitioner, learned counsel for the State, on instruction, submitted that the same would not be required as copy of the income-tax return has been filed on behalf of the petitioner. He also submits that obviously, the matter of the petitioner has remained pending for long, thus, he assures that every step would be taken for expeditious disposal of his application for grant of arm licence.

circumstances of the case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Muzaffarpur to take a final decision in the matter of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order
