Case No. 175/2000 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 160, 323, 325, 326, 307, 341, 342, 186, 353, 332, 333, 334, 337, 338, 435 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and later on Section 302 IPC has also been added. Allegedly, the petitioner and other co-accused being in custody, started quarreling with another group, set fire in the blanket after pouring Kerosene oil, in spite of Lathicharge, they remained violent, resulting some of the custodial accused were injured and out of them one died.
