The petitioner being father of husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 16.10.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 326, 304B/34 of the IPC.
The prosecution case is of killing the daughter of informant within four months of the marriage. The dead body was recovered from a sugarcane field near the house of accused persons.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that thrust of accusation is against the husband of deceased, who is in

custody, and investigation has already been concluded.
Learned counsel for the informant submits that at the relevant time the petitioner was in the house when the victim was killed and her dead body was thrown in sugarcane field.
Considering the nature of accusation, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at present. The prayer is rejected.
Let the trial be expedited.
