The sole petitioner, invoking inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, has prayed for quashing of an order dated 29-01-2014 passed in T.R. No. 310 of 2014 (arising out of Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 112 of 2011) registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323 & 324 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (in short “SC/ST Act”). By the said order, the learned Special Judge, Samastipur has rejected the petition filed on behalf of petitioner, whereby it was claimed that no offence under the provision of SC/ST Act was made out.

Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to persuade the Court that no offence under the provision of SC/ST Act is made out, whereas, on perusal of the F.I.R., the Court is satisfied that learned Special Judge has committed no error in rejecting the petition.

The petition stands dismissed.
