The petitioner carries allegation under sections 420,409 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code read with sections 3(i) (x) SC/ST Act. Briefly stated the prosecution case is that the mother of the informant was entitled to payment of old-age pension. The petitioner being the Panchayat Secretary has defalcated the amount payable to the mother and obtained her LTI fraudulently.
