In the present case the petitioner has claimed in paragraph 1 which is as follows:-

“That the present petitioner in his representative capacity being the General Secretary of Cantonment Civilians Association is invoking the writ jurisdiction of this Hon’ble court on behalf of the civilians residing in the Danapur Cantonment Area for a direction to the Chief Engineer P.E.S.U., respondent no.2 to immediately give electrical connection to the civilians of the Cantt. Area who have applied for the same and have deposited requisite fee for the connection.

The petitioner further sprays for quashing the order dated 26.5.98 issued by the office of respondent Garrison Engineer, Danapur Cantt. Whereby civil consumers were directed to make arrangement for taking electrical connection from P.E.S.U. so that the electrical connection can be disconnected

from the station head quarter, Danapur Cantt. a copy of which has been sent to all civilian consumers and also the notice dated 3.8.1998 issued by Administrative Commandant whereby decision has been taken that the electrical supply of private consumers will be stopped w.e.f. 1.12.1998; the petitioner further prays for any other reliefs(s) to which he may be found entitled to under the law.”

the Board that Civil area except the quarter of the Civil S.D.O. power has been given to each and every residence and the citizen has got electric connection through the Patna Electric Supply Company Undertaking, this matter has become infructuous.
