The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction in appeal dated 17.12.2012 passed by the Ad hoc Additional District & Sessions Judge-II, Vaishali at Hajipur in Criminal Appeal No. 57 of 1996, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 24.05.1996 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Vaishali at Hajipur in G.R. Case No. 2287 of 1992 (Tr. No. 59 of 1996), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 324 IPC and sentenced him to undergo S.I. for six months.
Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any reason for interference with the same.
However, considering the period of custody, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.
With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the Revision Application stands dismissed.
