Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 323, 354, 379, 448, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged against the petitioner that petitioner assaulted with Khanti on the head of the informant causing bleeding injury. Thereafter other accused persons dragged the informant and co-accused Subodh Mandal and Sintu Mandal assaulted her with lathi and subsequently accused persons took away Rs. 2000/- and silver chain kept in a box.
