The petitioners had applied for the post of Safai Karmchari-Sah-Adhinasth Karamchari / Adhinasth Karamchari in different branches / offices in the territorial jurisdiction of the Motihari, Central Bank of India. They participated in the process

of selection as well as the interview.

The petitioners’ case is that their names were shown in the list of selected candidates. Thereafter, they were directed to appear before the competent authority at Motihari along with the documents, which they did. It is the petitioners grievance that after the submissions of their documents, they have not received any information with respect to their joining or otherwise. It has been contended that they sought an information under Right to Information Act with respect to their joining, in response to which, they received a communication dated 13.09.2013 to the effect that once the information was received in this regard from the Central Office, the petitioners would be informed accordingly. Petitioners contend that thereafter, they have not received any communication.

In such circumstance, I dispose of this application with a direction to the Chairman, Central Bank of India, Pawapuri, Mumbai, to ensure that final decision as regards the petitioners’ grievance is communicated to them within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the Respondents will ensure communication of this order to Respondent No. 1, the Chairman
