In compliance of the order dated 18.3.2013 a supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 4 to 8 stating therein that during the pendency of the present writ petition the grievances raised on behalf of the petitioners in the present proceeding have already been redressed and the petitioners have been granted due promotion on the higher post, as claimed by them.
In view of the aforesaid developments and redressal of the valid grievances of the petitioners, this Court is of the opinion that now cause of action does not survive and the present writ application has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
The interim order of stay passed by a Bench of this Court by order dated 27.4.2012 stands vacated.
