2 12-12-2013 As per the case of petitioner, during Panchayat Election 2011, under valid orders of the respondents, it had supplied food items to the personnel involved in the Election in Nalanda district. After election was over, bill was submitted of the articles supplied. Submission is that part payment has been made to the petitioner, but rest of the amount of bill to the tune of Rs.2,78,270/- still remains due.

Writ application is accordingly disposed of with a direction to respondent no.6 District Panchayati Raj Officer, Nalanda at Biharsharif to see to it that the bill of the petitioner is

examined and rest of the admitted amount of the bill is paid to him positively within two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the admitted amount shall carry interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the next date of expiry of two months, which shall be paid by Respondent no.6 from his own pocket.

It goes without saying that in case respondents dispute or deny any part of the rest of the amount of bill of the petitioner, they shall assign reasons and shall communicate the same to the petitioner within that very period.
