From the orders dated 23.05.1997 and 08.01.1998 passed
by this Court in CWJC Nos.10905 of 1992 and 9256 of 1992, copies whereof are annexed as Annexure-9 and 9/1 respectively with the supplementary affidavit, it appears that the impugned order no.6155 dated 01.09.1992 of the Department has been quashed in respect of
the petitioners of those cases. The three petitioners in the present writ application were also named in the said order along with the

petitioners of the said writ applications and the common order, canceling their promotion, was passed.
Since the order stands quashed in respect of the petitioners of the said writ applications, this Court has no option than to quash the impugned order in respect of the present petitioners also. Accordingly, following the said orders of this Court, the impugned order, so far as present petitioners are concerned, is quashed.
The writ application is allowed.
