The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 498A and 323 of the I.P.C. registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 1723 of 2010.
Vide order dated 21.08.2013, the petitioner was granted time with a direction to file an affidavit disclosing the amount of maintenance paid to the opposite party no. 2 required to be done in terms of judgment dated 19.09.2011 passed by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gopalganj in Misc. Case No. 168 of 2010, and for which further time was also granted vide orders dated 04.09.2013 and 25.09.2013.
Considering the nature of allegations in the complaint with regard to cruelty and torture inflicted by the petitioner upon the complainant, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of

anticipatory bail to the petitioner, moreso when the petitioner has failed to furnish details of the maintenance paid by him.
The provisional anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 08.03.2013 is, therefore, recalled and the bail application is, accordingly, dismissed.
