It is submitted that the petitioner has applied for compassionate appointment on 14.2.2012 after the death of his father in harness on 14.9.2007. The matter is pending consideration and no final orders have been passed. It appears that by order dated 9.12.2011, the respondents in the Department of Education have posthumously declared the deceased to be a government servant. If that be so, it has to be given full effect by considering the petitioner’s claim for compassionate appointment also.
