JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 4 30-07-2012 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being the husband of the complainant is apprehending arrest in Complaint Case No. 387C of 2011 in which cognizance has been taken under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah.
The accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.
In pursuance to the order dated 03.07.2012, the petitioner and complainant are present. The complainant is ready to resume the conjugal life but the petitioner is not ready to reconcile the issue.
In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the same is rejected.
