Versus
THE BIHAR STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD & ORS .
The petitioner acknowledges dues outstanding at Rs. 21,609/- on account of electricity connection in the same premises outstanding in the name of her husband. The defence is that he is contesting it in a certificate case and therefore the petitioner desires a fresh electric connection.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner proposes to approach before the Board for upto date dues on the premises and to deposit the same after which supply may be restored subject to final orders that may be passed in certificate case.
If the petitioner deposits all dues outstanding upto date as may be determined by the Board for the premises in question, the Court expects the electricity supply to be restored to the premises.
Needles to state that the Board shall act
reasonably by adjustment, if necessary, depending on the final order that may be passed in the certificate case as the premises remain the same.
