1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing for the Opposite Party No.2. Perused the writ application as well as the documents annexed thereto.

The Petitioner has filed the present writ application with the following prayer:

“In the circumstances, it is prayed therefore your

Lordships would be graciously pleased to admit the application, issue notice to the 0pp. Parties and after hearing the parties direction be issue to the Opp.party No2 to promote the petitioner to his higher post i.e. ( Level11 to Levei-12) as per his eligibility followed by the rule of HIT, Bhubaneswar and he prayed therein to consider his credibility and promote him to the desire position from

the due date, by publishing the result of the promotional review conducted on 22.11.2025 by the Opp.Party No-2 within a stipulated time.

And pass any other order/orders, direction/directions as deems just and proper in the circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for the Petitioner at the outset contended that being aggrieved by the inaction of the Opposite Party No.2 in publishing the final result of the recruitment test held for the post of different teaching faculties, the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ application.

Learned counsel for the Opposite Party No.2 produced a copy of the instruction dated 31.12.2025 which indicates that the result has been published in the meantime.

In view of the aforesaid development, the writ application has become infructuous. Accordingly, the same is disposed of.

A copy of letter dated 31.12.2025 has already been handed over to the learned counsel for the Petitioner.
