1. This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction for disposal of RMC No. 03 of 2019 under Orissa Regulations, 2/56, 3(A) within a period of 15 days which is pending since more than six years.

Mr. Susanta Kumar Lenka, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that on 17.01.2020, notice had been issued to the Petitioner and the case has been fixed to 12.02.2020 for appearance, but thereafter there has been no progress in the case. 3. The prayer for issue of direction for disposal of RMC within a period of 15 days is rejected. But, considering the fact that the RMC is of the year 2019, the Opposite Party No.2 -

Officer on Special Duty (Land Reform), Balliguda, Kandhamal is requested to dispose of the RMC No. 03 of 2019 within a period of six months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment and after giving opportunity of hearing to the concerned parties. It is made clear that this Court has gone into the merits of the case of the Petitioner.

The Writ Petitioner is accordingly disposed of.
