Pranabandhu Sethi Vs State of Orissa

Heard Mr. S. Samal, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. T.K. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties.

Considering the grievance of the Petitioner that his claims for release of retiral benefits and pension under the Odisha Aided Educational Institutions Employees’ Retirement Benefit Rules, 1981 and that similar orders passed by this Court earlier in a coordinate Bench, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director of Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.2) to consider the release of pension & retiral benefits in favour of the Petitioner, in accordance with law and keeping in view the decision rendered by this Court in the case of Hemant Kumar Chhotaray vs. State of Odisha and others, 2024 (I) OLR—709 , within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order .
