01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties.
3. Petitioners have filed the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:-
“It is, therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit this writ application and issue notice to the Opp.parties call for the records and after hearing both the parties this Hon'ble Court may direct the Opp.parties to give promotion to the petitioners as per their seniority from the date of their appointment to the next higher rank and i.e. on 04.12.2010 may be given to the consequential service benefits petitioners as per rules.
And any other order/orders direction/directions may deem fit and proper pass in favour of the petitioners.
And for this act of kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioners states that highlighting their grievance, Petitioners have made a representation to Opposite Party No.2 vide Annexure-15 and the same may be directed to be considered within a stipulated time, to which learned Counsel for the State has no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the Writ Petition directing Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation filed by the Petitioners vide Annexure-15 within a period of two (2) months in accordance with law from the date of production of certified copy of this order with due communication to the Petitioners. Any promotion given in the meantime shall be subject to final decision to be taken by Opposite Party No.2 as directed.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
