01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.
3 . The present Writ Petition has been filed inter alia with the following prayer: -
“Under these facts and circumstances, it is most humbly prayed therefore, that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to direct Opp. party no.4 to allow extension of 15 days' time in favour of the petitioner to join in the post of senior resident in the department of Paediatrics at ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar pursuant to offer of appointment dated 22.08.2026 under annexure-9.
Or in the alternative pass any other order/orders as deem fit and proper in this case.
And for the said act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.”
4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-11 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the

matter. In such background, she prays that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.
5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted representation in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
