The record is put up today in the 1^st National Lok Adalat, 2026.

The joint compromise petition filed by the parties is taken up in this National Lok Adalat for consideration. The joint compromise petition filed by the parties, which is taken on record, is signed by the petitioner-Ms. Parbati Acharya, her counsel Mr. Jajati Keshari Khuntia and Mr. Prasanta Kumar Tripathy, learned counsel for the OPs, who by producing the e- mail communication received from the OPs informs the Lok Adalat that the matter can be settled with an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) towards full and final settlement in the matter.

The petitioner-Ms. Parbati Acharya being identified by her counsel Mr. Jajati Keshari Khuntia, is present in person. Similarly, Mr. Prasanta Kumar Tripathy, learned counsel for the OPs is present. Accordingly, the matter was thoroughly deliberated and the parties express their wish to enter into a

compromise without any influence or coercion and Ms. Parbati Acharya agrees to receive Rs.2,00,000/(Rupees Two Lakhs) towards full and final settlement in the matter.

It is not out of place to mention that Ms. Parbati Acharya has in fact approached this Court in this writ petition for compensation towards injuries sustained by her minor son in electrocution. In the aforesaid situation, especially when the petitioner has agreed for the settlement and on being asked, she submits that she has entered into a compromise with the OPs without any undue influence and coercion and the compromise being lawful, the prayer for compromise in the writ petition stands allowed. Accordingly, the OPs shall pay Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) to the petitioner towards full and final settlement in this matter within four weeks hence. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of on compromise in the National Lok Adalat. The compromise petition together with the E-mail communication as produced by the learned counsel for Ops form part of this order.
