1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present Writ Petition with liberty to approach the concerned Tahasildar under Section 8-A of the Odisha Prevention of Land Encroachment Act, 1972 (OPLE Act) for settlement of the land in question.

3. Permission is granted.

4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the concerned Tahasildar by filing an appropriate application under Section 8-A of the OPLE Act for settlement of the land in her favour, within fifteen days from today, along with all relevant documents.

5. In the event such an application is filed, the concerned Tahasildar shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law, on its own merits, after affording due opportunity to all concerned, if required.

6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the Petitioner and the concerned authority shall consider the application independently in accordance with law.
