The petitioners have approached this Court with the following

prayer:-

“It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court would graciously be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus directing the Tahasildar, Kakatpur to accept the petition filed by the petitioners under Annexure-3 and correct the areas in RORs (Schedule given below) in conformity with the corrected map pursuant to Amin report and sketch map submitted under Annexure-1 & 2 in the interest of justice.

And issue any other writ(s)/Order(s)/Direction(s) be passed as this Hon'ble Court deem just fit and proper.

And for this act of kindness this petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.”

It is submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the revisional authority, the map was corrected but the area has not

been correctly depicted therein. The petitioner wants correction of the same in consonance with the order passed by the revisional authority. Since the matter is strictly within the domain of the Tahasildar, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Tahasildar to inquire into the matter and if satisfied about the correctness of the claim, pass necessary order for correct depiction of the area of the land in question. To cut short the delay, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Tahasildar on 6^th August, 2026 at 10.30 A.M. along with a certified copy of this order.
