The petitioner has approached this Court with the following

prayer:-

“The petitioner therefore most humbly prays that this Hon’ble Court would graciously be pleased to admit this writ petition, call for the records and after hearing the parties, allow the same by issuing a writ/writs in the nature of certiorari/mandamus declaring that the recording at Col. No.3 of the ROR (Annexure-3) as Pattadar status is illegal and similarly in the ROR (Annexure-1) as “Dakhal Satwa Sunya” status is also illegal, hence the Tahasildar, Jatni be directed to correct such entry in the ROR (Annexure-3) and issue Stitiban Patta to the petitioner in respect of the case land;

And pass any other or further direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper;

And for which act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.”

It is stated at the bar that the case of the petitioner is covered by the judgment rendered by this Court recently in the case of Gargi Dash v. State of Odisha & Others (W.P.(C) No.2870 of 2026) & Batch.

Considering the submissions as above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahasildar, Jatni to consider the prayer of the petitioner in light of the aforementioned judgment of this Court. A decision in this regard shall be taken within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
