01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties.

3. Petitioner has filed the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:-

It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:

(a) Issue a writ of Certiorari and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the illegal and arbitrary evaluation of the petitioner's answer scripts, particularly with respect to Question No.60 of Paper-1 (Booklet-B);

(b) Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Opposite Parties to re-evaluate the petitioner's answer, more especially paperII corrects the answer key error, and recompute the marks of the petitioner strictly in accordance with the terms of the advertisement and settled principles of law;

(c) Further direct the Opposite Parties to declare the petitioner as qualified and consider/select him for appointment to the post of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer under Advertisement No.01 of 2025, with all consequential service benefits;

(d) Pass such other order(s) or direction(s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case;

And for this act of kindness, the Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner state that highlighting his grievances, Petitioner has made a representation before Opposite Party No.2 vide Annexure-7 and the same may be directed to be considered within a stipulated time, to which learned Counsel for the State has no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the Writ Petition directing Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-7 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of this order with due communication to the Petitioner.

6. It is observed that appointment made in terms of Anneuxre-1 shall be subject to final outcome of the decision to be taken as directed.

7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
