Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State.

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following

prayer:-

“Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:

i) quash the impugned Notification, dated 19.06. 2025, issued by the Revenue & Disaster Management Deptt., Govt. of Odisha / Opp.Party No.l and thereby hold and declare that the Petitioner is the lawful owner of the Schedule property, with Sthitiban status (Not ''Patadar") and is entitled to all the rights and benefits of said property ;

ii) pass such other order(s)/issue direction(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the Bonafide interest of justice;

And for which act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound, shall ever pray.”

Considering the submissions as above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahasildar, Tangi to consider the prayer of the petitioner in light of the aforementioned judgment of this Court. A decision in this regard shall be taken within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
