02. 1 . Heard Mr. A.K. Subudhi, learned counsel appearing for the appellant-husband and Mr. Julu Khansama, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-wife.

2 . Mr. Khansama, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-wife submitted that the appellant-husband Dhananjay Bhoi, during pendency of this appeal, has expired on 18.09.2025 due to an accident. In this regard, learned counsel has placed the death certificate of the appellant issued on 23.01.2026 by the Registrar, Births and Deaths, Superintendent, C.H.C., Belpahar Municipal Council, TahasilLakhanpur, District- Jharsuguda, Odisha.

In view of the death of the appellant Dhananjay Bhoi on
