Perused the instruction dated 02.02.2026 of the IIC,

Birmaharajpur P.S., who has submitted that the letter dated 16.09.2025 of the Petitioner has been received by him without any enclosures. He has also submitted that the Petitioner has not approached the Police Station with authenticated documents for release of the unclaimed vehicles and the petition was received from the S.P., Subarnapur on 18.09.2025 and endorsed to the SDPO,

Birmaharajpur for enquiry on 29.09.2025 and the SDPO, Birmaharajpur submitted his enquiry report on 08.11.2025 stating about the involvement of the husband of the Petitioner in Mendamal murder case and about the unclaimed seizure of the above noted two

vehicles. It has also been stated in the instruction that if the

registered owner of the vehicles appears at the Police Station with authenticated documents of the vehicles with identity proof and order of the competent authority, there is no bar for release the vehicles in favour of the registered owner of the vehicles.

Mr. Raj Kishore Swain, learned counsel for the Petitioner

submits that necessary application along with supporting documents shall be submitted to the IIC, Birmaharajpur P.S. for release of the vehicles within a period of two weeks.

As the vehicles JCB bearing Registration No.OD-31-D4933 and a Tractor bearing Registration No.OD-31-E-8551 have not been seized in connection with any case, the question of release shall be considered by the IIC, Birmaharajpur P.S. if they are supported by documents relating to ownership of the vehicles.
