1. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks the intervention of this Court for a direction to the Trial Court i.e., the court of J.M.F.C., Baramba, in connection with G.R. Case No.260 of 2022 and Trial No.28 of 2023 arising out of Baramba P.S. Case No.272 of 2022, for refund of entire amount of Rs.1,50,000/- deposited by the Petitioner towards compliance with the directions issued as conditions of bail.

It is submitted by Mr. Pattanaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner, that the Petitioner has since been acquitted in the aforesaid G.R. Case No.260 of 2022 vide

judgment dated 17.07.2025, as the parties settled the dispute outside the court. On query, Mr. Pattanaik submits that the Petitioner has not yet applied for the release of the payment, in accordance with the provisions enunciated in the G.R.C.O.

Be that as it may, the Petitioner is directed to file a proper application before the appropriate court for release of the deposited amount. In the event such application is filed under the relevant provisions, the amount deposited with the court shall be released in favour of the appropriate person with proper identification, subject to furnising an affidavit stating that the said amount is not the subject matter of the compromise between the parties.

Accordingly, the CRLMP stands disposed of.
