1. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks the intervention of this Court for a direction to the Opposite Party No.3 to proceed with the investigation in accordance with law with utmost promptitude.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner, in course of hearing in the application, submitted that for redressal of the grievance, the Petitioner moved the concerned Police Station, and upon consideration of the complaint, the same was registered as Simulia P.S. Case No.445 of 2025 on 24.09.2025 . However, there is no progress in the investigation as yet.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner, it is directed that the Opposite Party No.4 i.e. the IIC, Simulia P.S. shall monitor the investigation and take all necessary steps to ensure a free, fair and diligent investigation into the matter. Needless to mention that the investigation has to be completed as expeditiously as possible by submission of Final Form, if any, within a period of one month, if there be no other legal impediment. It is also directed that the Opposite Party No.3 i.e. the Superintendent of Police, Balasore to supervise the matter and pass appropriate instruction, if any for early submission of the Final Form taking into account the nature of the complaint and its gravity.
