accused Prabhasini Bhuyan and another has been admitted to bail by this Court in BLAPL No. 1905 of 2026 and another co-accused namely Kuni Bhuyan has been granted bail by the Apex Court in SLP(Crl.) No. 12035 of 2025, but the petitioners are languishing in jail custody since 06.09.2023. It is also submitted for the petitioners that this Court has granted liberty to the petitioners Prabasini Bhuyan and others to renew their prayer for bail, if the trial is not concluded within six months thence w.e.f. 11.07.2025, but the trial is yet to be concluded till today and only 23 out of 33 charge sheeted witnesses have been examined and, therefore, the petitioners may kindly be granted bail.
3.1. On the other hand, Mr.P.Satapathy, learned Addl. PP by placing the evidence of witnesses examined so far prays to reject the bail application of the petitioners.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstance and after going through the evidence of the witnesses so far examined in this case and keeping in view the natura and gravity of the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. 5. Hence, the bail application of the petitioners stands rejected. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of. The learned trial Court is hereby requested to expedite the trial to conclude it as early as possible. A soft copy of this order be immediately communicated to the concerned Court, who shall afterwards communicate the same to the concerned Jail through e- mail for reference.
