Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.

Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioner seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Kamakhya Nagar P.S. Case No.20 of 2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No.32 of 2026 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Kamakhya Nagar on the grounds stated.

Recorded the submissions of learned counsel for the respective parties. Gone through the FIR as at Annexure-1. Referring to a copy of the agreement style as ‘Chuktinama’, Mr. Nayak learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present accused has been in business dealing with the informant and in that connection, the report has been lodged. It is further submitted that another accused, namely, Rajendra@Tarakanta Mohapatra has been directed to surrender and to go on bail pursuant to the Court’s order in ABLAPL No.600 of 2026 dated 29^th January, 2026 and the petitioner is similarly situated. State. The Court finds from the F.I.R. i.e. Annexure-1 and Annexure-2 that there has been a dispute between both the parties in the distribution of the gas cylinders and ultimately, it has led to the lodging of the report. Considering the above facts, for the petitioner claiming to have no other antecedent and release of the co-accused vide the ABLAPL, a copy of which is at Flag-F, this Court is inclined to extend parity.

4. Accordingly, it is ordered.

In the result, the ABLAPL petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before learned S.D.J.M., Kamakhya Nagar within a fortnight from today and in the event, he surrenders in compliance thereof, shall be released on bail in connection with G.R. Case No.32 of 2026 on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (rupees thirty thousand) with one solvent surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the court below, which shall be at liberty to impose such other suitable conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case besides the following, such as, he shall cooperate the I.O. in the investigation, till it is over.
