The Petitioners are seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with C.T. Case No.1913 of 2026 pending on the file of learned S.D.J.M., Jajpur arising out of Dasarathpur P.S. Case No.187 of 2026 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 115(2)/117(2)/296/3(5)/351(2)/74 of BNS, 2023.

It is alleged that because of altercation during distribution of relief materials, the alleged offence stated to have been committed.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for pre-arrest bail.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and the injury being simple as stated by the learned

counsel for the Petitioners, it is directed that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the Petitioners shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and proper subject to verification of criminal antecedent of similar nature.

If it comes to the fore that the Petitioners have any such criminal antecedent, this order shall not be given effect to.

It is needless to state that the Petitioners shall cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of. U.C.C. as per rules.
